Just like all the other amazing places we have been to in SA – this park felt like it came out of nowhere.

The playground was epic. One this SA does well is there nature playgrounds and this one did not disappoint. Had areas were kids could build there own nature cubby houses. Rocks to climb, bridges to cross and a huge tunnel slide dubbed the “eagles nest”. It was spread out with two areas for cars to park. There was also a food and coffee van (not very cheap thou).

The boys loved the whole playground and could of easily spent a few hours here – if i was more prepared with food and the weather was to be kinder!

You can walk from the playground to the first waterfall easy enough. It is pretty flat and all pram friendly – although the park stops being dog friendly at the waterfall car park (about 1km from the falls). The path is even and well maintained. Eddie walked the whole was there and back (slowly) and had no complaints. Eddie was also pretty impressed with the falls “wowza” was the word he used.

Harvey also walked most of the way there but I carried him back (should of taken the pram).

I loved this park. It was easy and beautiful. I read later on that a lot of people use the other trails for training to do longer treks. I would love to come back and tackle some of the longer walks alone (and see the other falls!) Or when the boys are bigger and can do them with me. Ben would hate them because of the hills (cue eye roll)
